Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 August 2026. This policy explains how Wheeley Automobile Pte Ltd (UEN 202433801N) collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore ("PDPA"), when you use wheeleyauto.sg or deal with us.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry, valuation or booking form, we collect only what is needed to respond: your name, mobile number, email address, and any details you choose to share (such as your vehicle's licence plate, make, model and mileage). We do not collect NRIC or other national identification numbers unless they are required for a transaction, financing application or LTA ownership transfer.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries, schedule viewings, prepare valuations and complete transactions.
- To provide financing or insurance assistance you have requested, including sharing your details only with the banks and insurers you have asked us to approach.
- To carry out ownership transfers and related matters with the Land Transport Authority (LTA) where applicable.
- To improve our service. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
Who we share it with
We share your personal data only where necessary: (a) with our third-party form delivery service, which routes website submissions to our business inbox; (b) with banks, insurers or the LTA when you have asked us to act on your behalf; and (c) with our professional advisers where required by law. All processors are required to protect your data in line with the PDPA.
How we store and protect it
Submission details are held in our business email, secured with access controls, and retained only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected (or as required by law, for example where records relate to a sale or vehicle transfer). We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your personal data.
Your rights under the PDPA
Where you have provided consent, you may withdraw it for marketing communications at any time, and you may request access to or correction of the personal data we hold about you, to the extent permitted under the PDPA. To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a concern about how we handle your data, contact our Data Protection Officer (see below). We will respond within the timeframes contemplated by the PDPA.
Data breach
In the event of a notifiable data breach under the PDPA, we will notify the PDPC and affected individuals as required by law.
