Wheeley Warranty

What the Wheeley Warranty actually covers.

Quick answer: Every Wheeley-certified used car comes with a written warranty covering the engine, gearbox, electrical systems and labour at our panel workshops, for up to one year. Wear-and-tear items (brake pads, tyres, wiper blades) and accident damage are excluded. Claims are processed within 48 hours; most repairs are completed within 2–5 working days at any of three Wheeley-authorised workshops across Singapore.

Every Wheeley-certified used car comes with a written warranty. This page spells out exactly what is covered, what is not, how to make a claim, and where to take the car if something goes wrong. No small print, no asterisks in the headline.

How to make a claim

  1. 1

Message the Wheeley desk on WhatsApp

Send your name, plate number, and a short description of the fault. Include a photo of the dashboard warning light if relevant.

  2. 2

Bring the car to a Wheeley-authorised workshop

We will direct you to the closest panel workshop. The workshop will inspect and confirm the fault against your warranty schedule.

  3. 3

    Approval and repair

Once the workshop confirms the fault is covered, we authorise the repair. You pay only the excess (if any) and any non-covered items.

  4. 4

    Drive away

Most covered repairs are completed within 2 to 5 working days depending on parts availability.

Frequently asked

Is the Wheeley warranty transferable if I sell the car privately?add

No. The warranty is tied to the original buyer and the original sale. When you sell the car privately or trade it back to Wheeley, the warranty ends at the point of transfer.

Does the warranty cover pre-existing faults I knew about at handover?add

No. Any fault disclosed and acknowledged in your handover report is excluded from warranty cover. This is one reason Wheeley's handover report is detailed — it protects both sides.

Can I service the car at any workshop and keep the warranty valid?add

Routine servicing can be done at any MAS-licensed workshop. Keep all receipts. If a warranty claim later arises, you may be asked for evidence of regular servicing (typically every 10,000 km or 6 months, whichever comes first).

What happens if a covered component fails after a Wheeley-authorised workshop closes?add

Towing to the nearest Wheeley-authorised workshop is reimbursed up to a capped amount if the failure is confirmed as covered. Call our WhatsApp desk first — do not authorise repairs without approval.
